Homelessness

In the Los Angeles Times, Benjamin Oreskes writes an editorial about Trump's take on California's homelessness and his policies to help the problem.

Oreskes talks about a recent visit from President Trump and how he talked about the great problem of homelessness in cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco. While protest begin to uprise in presences of Trump, slurs were chanted at the protesters. He also talks about how Trump is using this problem towards his 2020 bid and blames the cities for letting this get to them. Trump also classifies these homeless people as immigrants and mentally ill people. While living wage is high in California, his idea is to supply housing and possible raise the wage for Californians.

This is well worthy read because of how in depth Oreskes goes into Trump's visit which only lasted two days and it is unbiased to his beliefs. Also goes more into the plans on what is going on and how to help out the homeless, which is a well known problem.
